Liberty Diversified International Hires Robert Meekin to Top HR Post

 

(MINNEAPOLIS) October 17, 2011 – Liberty Diversified International (LDI) has named Robert (Bob) Meekin Vice President of Human Resources and Workplace Excellence.

Meekin will join LDI as a member of the corporate executive management team, overseeing human resources, benefits and compensation, employee communications, community involvement and talent development for all LDI businesses.

According to Michael (Mike) Fiterman, LDI president and CEO, “Bob Meekin brings exceptional international human resources experience to our LDI family of companies. Plus, his team-building attributes and open communication style make him a great cultural fit for our organization.”

Meekin’s corporate experience includes Danish firm GN Resound, Mesaba Airlines, The Perrier Group and Exxon before operating an organizational development and human resources consulting firm since 2008.

Meekin earned his B.A. from St. Johns University in Collegeville, MN along with an M.A. in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota and an M.S. in Organization Development from American University. He is a member of the advisory board of Feed My Starving Children and teaches advanced human resources-related classes at area universities.
