(MINNEAPOLIS) December 17, 2015 – Liberty Diversified International (LDI) has named Mark S. Schumacher President and COO.
Schumacher has served as a member of LDI’s Advisory Board for five years as an external advisor while he was President of the Pressure/Temperature Business of manufacturing technology leader Emerson Process Management. LDI Chairman and CEO Mike Fiterman said, “Mark Schumacher brings a vast array of benefits to our leadership team, including his broad innovation prowess, his international sales and marketing experience, plus his intimate knowledge of LDI.”
Fiterman said that a critical factor in Schumacher’s hiring is his understanding of the roles of values and culture in successful operations, especially in family-owned companies. “Mark has proven that he has the skills to lead LDI in our future growth and continued profitability, but in a manner that reflects commitments to our employees, customers and communities,” Fiterman said.
