General Counsel Bayer Honored as Industry Leader

(MINNEAPOLIS) May 23, 2012 – Ronda Bayer, Liberty Diversified International’s vice president, secretary and general counsel has been named an Industry Leader by Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal in its 2012 Women in Business Awards.

The award was presented at a luncheon May 23, at which 26 Minnesota business women were named Industry Leaders.

Mike Fiterman, LDI President and CEO, said, “This recognition for Ronda is richly deserved .She is a key member of our executive team, and brings the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and leadership to our legal affairs.”

With extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as in corporate ethics and business conduct, Bayer has overall responsibility for all of LDI’s legal matters across its businesses in the U.S. and internationally.

Bayer shares her skills with the community, volunteering with organizations including:

  • The United Way Women in Leadership Council, working with other significant women donors to support their chosen community cause – early childhood education;
  • The Gustavus Adolphus College Women in Leadership program, providing an avenue to learn leadership skills from one another and provide leadership guidance for women students;
  • Susan G. Komen for the Cure, The Hydranencephaly Foundation, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation charity runs; and
  • Others including her church and Habitat for Humanity.
