Mexico Locations Receive National Safety Distinction

Our Mexicali and Tijuana Liberty Packaging plants recently received the ELSSA (Entornos Laborales Seguros y Saludables – Safe and Healthy Work Environments) distinction from the Mexican Social Security Institute!

“The recognition is granted to companies that demonstrate strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and employee well-being,” said Veronica Leon, Quality & EHS Manager.

ELSSA is a voluntary program for companies to implement strategies and actions to improve the health, safety and well-being of workers, as well as productivity and quality in the workplace. It specifically recognizes work to prevent work accidents in the hand and ankle, musculoskeletal disorders in the back, and occupational diseases related to psychosocial risk factors at work.

“Achieving this distinction reflects the dedication and teamwork across our operations in Mexico,” Veronica said. “It required cross-functional collaboration, discipline in our processes, and a proactive approach to creating a safer and healthier work environment. We will continue building on this achievement as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen safety and sustainability across our facilities.”

We’re proud of our team’s work and commitment!
