Lead the Line Wins 2nd Place in AICC Innovator of the Year Awards
Lead the Line, LDI’s frontline leadership development program, has been awarded 2nd place in the AICC Innovator of the Year Awards. AICC is the Independent Packaging Association, a national organization that supports our industry. This recognition highlights standout innovations that move our field forward.
This year, Lead the Line was recognized for how it strengthens leadership capability, builds consistency across our sites, and supports a culture where people grow, teams improve, and leaders lead with clarity and purpose.
This initiative was born from a recognition that frontline leaders play a crucial role in the success of our manufacturing operations – they directly lead the majority of LDI’s employees, and the role is not easy. Launched in 2024, Lead the Line supports and invests in frontline leaders with consistent expectations, a smooth hiring and onboarding experience, and a 12-month learning program to develop key leadership skills.
The program is facilitated by the Human Resources team, in close collaboration with operations leaders across the company. Together, they’ve created a set of tools and learning experience that is practical, relevant, and aligned with the everyday realities of frontline leadership.
